The variation is mainly due to the decrease of deposits in central banks (EUR 14,988 million) during 2019 under the heading Financial liabilities at amortised cost, partially compensated by the flow generated by the adjusted profit/(loss) for the period.
Mainly due to the payments and charges of tangible and intangible asset transactions.
The available liquidity and resources during the financial year mainly arises from the ordinary cash flows resulting from the issue (EUR 5,382 million in other issues) and repayment of debt or equity-based instruments (EUR 2,259 million in other maturities), as well as the dividends paid (EUR 602 million).
