- The Online Account, exclusively for new customers, includes free account opening and maintenance, along with CaixaBankNow digital banking services, check deposits in euros from banks located in Spain, and standard SEPA transfers in euros, Swedish kronor, or Romanian leu within the EU. The account does not offer 0%APR. 0%NIR. CaixaBank, S.A., with tax ID number A08663619, is registered in the Special Administrative Registry of the Bank of Spain under number 2100 and is the institution offering the bank account.
- The issuance and maintenance of additional or beneficiary cards is not included, which will have the price specified in the respective card agreement. During the term of this agreement, the card issuer reserves the right to change the card type at no cost. You will be notified in advance so that you can review the conditions of the new card (debit or credit), which will maintain a certain level of benefits equivalent to your original card. Debit card issued by the hybrid payment institution CaixaBank Payments & Consumer, E.F.C., E.P., S.A.U. ("CPC"), located at Avenida de Manoteras, No. 20, Edificio París (28050 Madrid). CaixaBank, S.A. acts as the agent entity for the card issuer. The chosen protection system for customer funds using payment services by CPC is the deposit in a separate account opened at CaixaBank, S.A.
- Payment of a €150 net incentive for a minimum new salary direct deposit of €900/month in an account opened at CaixaBank, or payment of a €250 net incentive for a minimum new salary direct deposit of €1,500/month in an account opened at CaixaBank. In both cases, three bill payments and three card purchases per quarter (excluding corporate cards) are required. These conditions must be maintained for 24 months, with an additional 24 months as a customer (keeping an open account or deposit at CaixaBank with a minimum balance of more than €5). The total incentive is €185.19 for the €150 deposit and €308.64 for the €250 deposit. A withholding tax of 19% is applied to the gross amount, resulting in the net amount credited. The incentive is taxed as investment income subject to withholding tax in accordance with current legislation, with exceptions for regional tax regimes. The recipient must declare investment income in their tax return based on the gross amount received, and the withholding tax can be deducted from the tax due. In the event of non-compliance, a proportional penalty will be charged based on the unpaid period, calculated on the gross amount of the bonus received for this promotion. The discounts will not apply to other direct deposit promotions (salary, self-employed, or pension) after January 1, 2023. Promotion valid nationwide until June 30th 2025.
